DESCRIPTION Some of you may remember Expo’67. Wouldn’t be nice to get back to the days of party atmosphere in Montreal and see the entire world on an island? Now you have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get for yourself a tiny ray of that sunny summer – for the first time in forty years the unique collection of the USSR pavilion is coming up for sale! Yes, some of the amber treasures prepared specially for the exhibition have been carefully preserved, intact, never worn – in fact, never seen the light of day – since that summer. Some still have their original tags attached! The colours that only time can enhance so beautifully are unique – rich orange, sparkling honey, butterscotch, burnished copper, cognac and an occasional mellowed bone white. All articles are of the finest craftsmanship, with no amber being spared to create these showpieces. You do not need to be an amber aficionado to appreciate them, but it adds to their timeless charm. They will make a precious gift to someone special or a treasured treat to yourself. They will not last on the market for long so act now and get your own piece of history. GENUINE VINTAGE 1967 RUSSIAN BALTIC SEA AMBER NECKLACE This unique jewel is like the little black dress of Mademoiselle Chanel – will be casual enough for a visit to a local ice-cream parlor with the girlfriends, but will bail you out in case you should flaunt something unique before a family gathering. It is as nice as it is impossible to copy, with its gentle patina created by time and the texture of its sides smoothed to perfection by the sea waves. The artist who created this piece genuinely appreciated the amber and managed to show its beauty while preserving its natural charm.
